There are always a number of projects needing to be done at Cottage Cove just waiting for you, your family, your group or your church to adopt. This list is broken into two categories; recurring and one time. It is not an exhaustive list, it merely represents many things presently high in our priorities. Don't let the large items on the list scare you away, there are many smaller ones too.

Recurring Projects (but you can come one-time to help with these) Trimming underbrush and vines Killing weeds Mowing our lawn and large playground field Help us collect toys and clothing for Christmas with Dignity. Help us find items for our reward store. Help us find and gather food items (we provide meals and do a food giveaway) Clean gutters Painting (inside and out), general and detail work. Need full Bibles (NIV) Helping refurbish donated computers (installing operating systems, testing) Cleaning (Annual) Plant flowers (Annual) Till our garden area One Time Projects Catalog and label books in our library (partial done) Scan old photos of Cottage Cove for digital archiving and video or web use Building storage shelves in our large storage shed Build a new tool/maintenance room (framing a wall, insulating, door, shelving, etc) Turn old tool room into a store room (shelves, walls repaired, etc) Need dehumidifier in basement with drain to outside Replace a door (need new frame built, have doors) - two of these. Repair a hallway (flooring, drywall, trim) Build a climbing structure and slides on our playground Tear down a brick chimney and repair roof/walls (have two of these, only one through roof) Repair the drywall in the parking lot entryway from the Big Room. Jack up and level the floor from the basement (two different projects) Pave the remainder of our parking lot (a relatively small piece, two large portions already done) Repair one small external wall of Cottage Cove (insulate, close in, vinyl siding) Repair the eave on our small shed (replace board, drip edge) Repair the eave on one side of Cottage Cove building (replace board, drip edge) New rain gutters Replace small shrubs that have died (front of building) Replace roof over Big Room (main building), including new trusses. Create a wall of built-in shelves with cabinet doors for records storage in office Make landing boxes around playground structures and swings, with gravel or mulch Make chair holder for storage in the hallway Re-carpet our office (we have the carpet!) Add electrical outlets to "playland" area. Add electrical outlets to tool room area. Repair plaster wall in tutoring room / painting Patching concrete around stone walls. Build new storage closet (front of building) Plant grass
