Click here for a printable volunteer application form. Volunteer Cottage Cove requires numerous volunteers daily to carry out its mission. If you would give an 1 or 2 hours of your time, one day a week, it makes a big difference. For example, helping children complete their homework takes place from 4:30 pm to 5:30 pm each day. This 1 hour time slot would be great, or come a bit earlier or perhaps stay slightly later to help with additional aspects. Alternately, our Super Tuesday program, that runs until 7 pm, is looking for volunteers from 5:45 - 7:15 pm. A few of the areas requiring help either daily, or in association with our Super Tuesday program, include... Tutoring (one-on-one instruction in reading, math, language) Music Instruction (teaching an instrument, singing, etc) Homework Arts & Crafts Skills Classes (sewing, cooking, etc.) General Help (crowd control, playground, etc.) Cleaning (Vacuuming, dusting, sweeping, washing windows, etc.) Enjoy Basketball? Inquire about helping with our Open Court Night on Thursday evenings beginning at 6 pm. We require a volunteer application for all individuals who will work with the children. Campbell's Labels for Education program enable us to get free education and sports equipment. Don't think of yourself as only having a few... a few from many quickly adds up. Special workdays can be scheduled to fit into your itinerary. A few ways to help in these areas... Organize a missions work group from your church. If local, be on-call for those urgent emergencies. Assist at one of our Saturday workdays. Adopt a project! Prayer Support As a Christian organization, we place great importance on prayer. One of the greatest tools we have at our disposal is the privilege of making our requests known to THE living God. It is through His power that the lives of so many children have been touched at Cottage Cove.   Special Events Many volunteers are required for our annual special events.
